Two Tall Trees

TTT LogoTwo Tall Trees began from a vision of a one-stop shop for LifeWays-inspired products, where Life is the young child's curriculum. From child-friendly kitchen implements to no-fail rain gear, affordable, quality children's personal care products like BPA-free toothbrushes and natural wood hairbrushes, to craft supplies and childcare provider resources, our offerings cover a wide gamut of programmatic needs, with some toys thrown in for fun!

Continually in search of US-made, sustainable products, a number of items come from mamas and other caregivers whose values of people before profit match those of Two Tall Trees. Every product we carry has been carefully selected and rigorously tested in the trenches. Our product descriptions offer suggestions for use, and we welcome customer feedback and input.

About Jess

Picture of Jessica I have worked with families and children in many capacities over the years: as birth doula, preschool teacher, art teacher, summer camp director, home childcare provider, extended day director, and parent child playgroup leader. Despite a passion for workshops and trainings I am most instructed by my experience of being the mother of two children.

Well I remember the day I realized, in a rush of warmth and release, like a birth, that my life's path led in the direction of reaching out to other mothers and families. Together we are strong, together we are a network of wisdom.

I completed my LifeWays training in Wisconsin in 2007. As I continue down my path of personal and professional development I am continually working with the ideas presented during the training and boiling them down to uncover and rediscover the nuance and implications of the Waldorf/LifeWays approach to considering the human being in its early development. One conclusion I have reached is that the development of the caregiver, while working with children in this manner, is nurtured and tended quite as much as the child’s.
